Christmas is an annual festival celebrated by the Christians all over the world on 25th December as a religious festival. Christmas celebration includes decorating the house, spend time with family and friends and enjoy festive meals.
This festival commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ. The day of Christmas is observed with zeal and devotion by the Christians and there is public holiday for Christmas.
Every country and every society have different traditions to celebrate Christmas but mostly Christians decorate their homes and malls with Christmas tree which is a tradition sparkling lights are used to decorate the tree.
Moreover on the day of Christmas people cut cakes, wear new dresses, cook traditional food, visit churches for pray and exchange money to the children. It is the great event for Christians and a day of feast as well.

Christianity in Pakistan is the second largest religious minority community in Pakistan. The total population of Christians in Pakistan are approximately 1.6% of the population. Christians celebrate Christmas by visiting their relatives, singing carols, and in return the family offers something to the choir. They decorate their houses, cut cakes and cook delicious and traditional foods. Christmas celebrations are also popular with the urban middle class in the country with hotels, cafes, restaurants and theme parks hosting festivities and special events.

Actually Santa gives gifts to the poor children so that they may celebrate the festival well.

The Christmas tree is a decorated tree mostly an evergreen coniferous, trimmed with lights and decorations, is derived from a “paradise tree”, or the tree in the Garden of Eden. The Christmas tree is associated with the celebrations of Christmas.
In the 18th century, it began to be illuminated by candles, which were ultimately replaced by Christmas lights after the advent of electrification.
